Morning Routine Friction
A good morning isn't about doing more. It's about removing the things that slow you down before you've started.

The morning routine industry wants you to add things: cold plunges, journaling, twenty minutes of meditation, a green juice that takes a blender and a prayer.
We're suspicious of any routine that requires more energy than you have at 7am. The best morning routine is the one with the least friction — the one you'll actually do.
A cup of hot nutrition that takes ninety seconds isn't a compromise. It's a foundation. Once eating is handled, the rest of the morning gets to be about whatever you actually care about.
Remove the friction first. Add the rituals later, if you want them.
A morning routine should remove friction, not add chores.
